Hotel Mercure Lisboa

The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I was impressed to see also how fluently the staff switched between languages depending on the clients in front of them. The cleanliness or everything was exceptional and while it's a subjective matter the comfort of the bed and bedding was perfect. I was pleased that the curtains were adequately heavy to properly block out light. And it was great to have the open-air pool and lounging area on the roof! Finally, the location is very good - it's not in the centre but the fact that the hotel is in a nice, out-of-the-way area was a bonus for me. I also stayed more centrally during my stay in Lisbon and it was much too noisy for me. The hotel is around the corner from a metro, train and bus terminal so is very conveniently located (you can catch the train to Sintra from there).

I am a member of accord and the receptionist put me in a priviledge room without me expecting it, I got a plate of chocolates delivered to my room and free mini bar coffee machine and a discount voucher for future stays. All totally unexpected but very much appreciated

Everybody from the staff was really helpful and polite. The breakfast was tasty. The Hotel is near the Metro Station. The Room Temperature was pleasantly nice, good air conditioning.

Good size hotel but not absolutely massive so breakfast was never hectic. The pool space was a decent size and just what the hotel needed really. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Room was nice and more than functional, maybe could do with a slight facelift but nothing major.
